Sheldon Shell gas station etching uses a tall boy beer can plate. I carved the drawing into the can (substrate) and rub ink into the grooves. laying dampened paper over the inked plate (can), I apply pressure with my Pocket Press to transfer the inked image onto the paper. This Shell Station is at the border of Sun Valley and Panorama City, near my birthplace.
