I designed each and every character myself. The Standard version includes the standard English 26 letter alphabet in lower case and caps. It also includes numbers, everyday punctuation and American money symbols. The Complete version contains all the characters required by international font sellers, and even includes a few extra symbols.

]]> Oh Honey! is based on the bespoke font I created for the Amber and Honey Design Co. logo. While I prefer to leave the interpretation of the style and feel of this font to the viewer, I’ve come to see it as an organic, feminine, new retro typeface. It’s excellent for headline and header text, and legible when small.

How to install it?

On a Mac: find the Oh Honey file in downloads and click on it. You may have to drag and drop it into your Font Book, which is in your applications folder.

On a PC: Right click and select install. You may have to open Fonts in the Control Panel to access the Font Manager. Then, drag and drop your Oh Honey download.

However, framed portraits arrive in a 5" x 5" frame as I prefer the square framing. Either way, the drawing itself starts out on the same size of paper.

A digital portrait is hand drawn using an Apple Pencil and is delivered to your inbox in one week or less. The last photo shows a digital portrait example. However, your portrait will not include a background, unless you contact me for a custom order.

]]> My hand drawn child portraits make a meaningful gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day,  birthdays and holidays.

After your purchase, I will reach out to ask for snapshots of your child or family member. The best photos for these portraits are naturally posed. Quiet moments rather than posed school photos. Send several photos so I can get a sense of your child’s unique face.

Why a miniature child portrait drawing? I wanted to make hand drawn portraits accessible for all budgets.

Can you also create hand drawn portraits of adults? Yes! I can draw anyone, even pets!

May I have two or more portraits on the same page? Yes. For digital commissions, the price is the same as 2 portrait commissions. The cost is more for paper portraits . When I make a mistake on a 2 person portrait, I have to start again on 2 drawings! Please contact me to discuss this or any other portrait drawing variation you have in mind.

What materials do you use? All of my portraits are drawn on vellum paper using colored pencils and an ink pen.

Portraits are usually finished within one week and should arrive in less than 2 weeks.

How can I frame these mini portraits? 5″ x 7″ is a standard frame size available wherever frames are sold. I personally like to trim the paper so the portrait fits a 5″ x” 5″ frame. I can also send your portrait framed. Just contact me.

A backordered portrait simply means there are a few portraits in line ahead of yours, so you portrait will take 2-3 weeks rather than one. Please use my about page to contact me if you have a deadline.

]]> I create hand painted house portrait ornaments on wood, backed with burlap and held with tandy line. Size will vary, but the house ornament shown is 2″ tall and 5.5″ wide.

If you prefer twine, please respond to the email with your order information and let me know.  This is also how you can send me photos of your home. The house portrait is meant to portray the house itself. When you take your photos, if a door or window is blocked by a tree or plant, please take a photo from an angle that shows just the door or window if you can.
